Yeshivat He’Atid Out-of-School Birthday Party Policy
At Yeshivat He’Atid, we take pride in fostering a community characterized by warmth, kindness, inclusivity, and a sense of togetherness. Our commitment to nurturing exceptional middot and a strong moral compass in our children is a defining value of our school. The positive reputation of our students as inclusive and kind individuals reflects these values and is a source of immense pride for our entire community.
To uphold these values, we have established the following policy regarding out-of-school birthday parties:
Inclusivity in Invitations
When hosting an out-of-school birthday party, we require that parents either:
Invite the entire class.
Invite all the children of the same gender within the class.
This policy aims to prevent hurt feelings and ensure that all children feel included.
For small gatherings in lieu of a larger party, please limit invitations to three children only.
Please be mindful to remain inclusive if inviting students from other classes.
Kashrut Guidelines
All food served at the party must bear one of the following acceptable Kashrut certifications: OU, Kof-K, Star K, OK, or RCBC.
We also ask that hosts be mindful of children with specific food allergies and take appropriate precautions when planning the menu.
Brachot
Please remind the children to recite the appropriate brachot before and after eating.
Should you have any questions or require clarification, please do not hesitate to contact a school administrator.
Thank you for partnering with us to ensure that our community remains one of kindness, respect, and inclusion.
