Our Inclusion Program for grades 1-5 fosters a sense of belonging and supports a select group of students requiring remediation, differentiation, and accessibility to the general education curriculum. The General Education Teacher and Inclusion Teacher co-teach in General Studies, with the Inclusion Teacher responsible for providing the necessary support to ensure every student can access the general education curriculum. The primary goal is to create an inclusive classroom environment where every student feels successful and part of the community.

To achieve this, the Inclusion Teacher delivers individualized, direct, explicit instruction in a way that is not overtly noticeable, ensuring all students feel included. By maintaining consistent strategies, we aim to gradually fade support as students learn to advocate for themselves and manage their challenges, ultimately becoming successful and independent learners.
