Yeshivat He’atid Middle School (YHMS) is a place that fosters student independence, creativity, and a love of learning. Through rigorous academics, project-based learning and enhanced student life, YHMS students develop the tools to succeed both in and out of the classroom ensuring they are well-equipped for future challenges & growth.

With a strong emphasis on building “habits of success” such as time management, organization, collaboration, and communication, YHMS focuses on developing independence to help each student reach his/her full potential and become active members of the community.

YHMS has a comprehensive and innovative curriculum in both Judaic and General studies. In Judaic Studies, students engage with a wide variety of texts, enhancing their critical thinking, developing the textual skills to learn independently, and fostering a continued love of Torah & Mitzvot, through real world connections and meaningful discussions. Students further develop their ability to speak in Ivrit through novel studies and a themed curriculum of Medinat Yisrael, its history, people and places.

Designed with careful consideration of students' cognitive and emotional development, the General Studies curriculum aims to provide a strong foundation in core subjects such as mathematics, science, language arts, and social studies. Additionally, it incorporates practical skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication, preparing students to thrive in an ever-evolving world. Beyond academics, the curriculum encourages creativity, teamwork, and adaptability, nurturing the development of each student's unique talents and interests.

YHMS student life is at the forefront of the Middle School experience. From Bar/Bat mitzvah breakfasts, shabbatonim, clubs, electives, chesed opportunities & student led committees, our students look forward to sharing their passions, fostering their identities, and becoming proud Jewish role models and leaders.
